Glasgow Queen Street Station is an ambitious redesign and expansion of a busy railway station, which serves 20 million+ daily users. The project restores the station’s central Victorian arched iron and glass shed, wrapping it with a striking contemporary exterior that signals the area’s economic and cultural regeneration. The platforms now accommodate longer trains, comfortable waiting areas, and spaces for retail and hospitality. New accessible routes, lighting, signage and public address systems improve circulation and ensure safety.
