Passionate about all thing’s urbanism, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTHUH) is one of the leading voices discussing the future of cities. Founded in The United States and with offices around the world, The CTBUH taps into its deep member network of subject matter experts to discuss and develop policy solutions that can be adopted by cities globally. One of these members is our very own Michelle Xuereb who, along with Thomas Moore, Senior Building Systems Consultant at Steven Winter Associates, will be examining the specifics of carbon reduction. Titled “Pathway to Net-Zero: What’s Next?” The conversation will center around reaching a higher Tier of the Toronto Green Standard (TGS), Net zero building, as well as a quick dive into Passive House principle as a mean to reach full building Electrification.

Taking place tomorrow, November 21st at BDP Quadrangle Studios at 8 Spadina Ave in Toronto, the event begins with registration at 5pm and at presentations at 5:30pm. Shortly afterwards, there will be a networking session from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
