We are pleased to share that Bata Shoe Factory has been honoured with a Brownie Award in the Best Small Project category.

The 2020 Brownie Awards recognize the builders, innovators and visionaries who are dedicated to the rehabilitation of brownfield sites that were once contaminated, under-utilized and undeveloped into productive residential and commercial projects that contribute to the growth of healthy communities across Canada.

Bata Shoe Factory is an exemplar for the rehabilitation of existing buildings and a catalyst for further community development in the town of Batawa, Ontario. The project was delivered in conjunction with collaborating design architect Dubbeldam Architecture + Design.
