Ken Brooks

Ken’s passion for architecture lies at the intersection of art and technology and champions the delivery of sustainable solutions by leveraging the foundation of strong design principles into practice across diverse typologies.

Ken brings over 35 years of experience and project expertise from a wide variety of sectors including Residential, Healthcare, Justice, Institutional, Science and Technology and Commercial projects and developments. Projects of note that Ken supported were the Union Station Revitalization Project with NORR and the LEED Gold Certified Honda Canada Headquarters in Markham, while working with HOK.

Joining Quadrangle in 2014, Ken was named Design Director in 2016, Associate in 2017 and Senior Associate in 2018. He has led numerous studio projects including the Bob Rumball Centre of the Deaf; Maple Leaf Quay, a rental residential tower injecting much needed rental accommodation along Toronto’s Waterfront; and most recently worked on the Downtown Markham Master Plan. Ken is well respected for his thoughtful approach and ability to lead large scale designs that incorporate diverse programs and multiple stakeholders. He also contributes further value to the studio by mentoring the next generation of designers.
