Julie enjoys the creative process involved in turning design ideas into tangible spaces and meeting client goals through strategic problem-solving.
Part of the Studio team since 2009, Julie was promoted to Associate in 2017 and Design Director in 2020. As a senior interior designer, she works as a project lead and design lead on workplace, commercial, residential and boutique retail projects, as well as integrated projects with our architectural team. Julie inspires confidence in both new and long-standing clients while pushing creative boundaries and is particularly skilled at conceptual design and building materiality. She also helps to set standards and processes for the Studio’s integrated services projects by sitting on our Interiors and Architectural Technical Committee. Julie has led many award-winning projects including Hullmark Head Office and The High Park’s penthouse suite, with additional portfolio work that includes 700 Bay and 80 Atlantic. Additionally, Julie gives back to the community as the captain of the Studio’s Ride for Heart team, which raises over $12,000 annually for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and is an enthusiastic mentor for interior design students.
