Caroline Robbie, Frances Hahn and Michael Kim collaborated to author a forward-thinking analysis of how Covid-19 will affect the design of workplaces. Published by Canadian Architect, they identify four areas most likely to be impacted and explain what to expect them to look like going forward.

They posit that next wave of workplace design will fall into four main categories:

  • Distributed versus remote working models;
  • Work design will change home design;
  • Office footprints and uses will change;
  • Urban clusters versus urban centres.
