Quadrangle has wrapped up another edition of Q-Salon, our showcase and auction of art made by Studio members to raise funds for SKETCH Working Arts. Thank you to everyone who made art and made bids at our silent and live auctions. Q-Salon 2019 was a resounding success.

We raised $3,500 for SKETCH!

The money we raised will go far to support youth who are homeless or living on the margins through engagement with the arts. Click here to learn more about the programs organized by this great Toronto-based non-profit.

This year we received 84 unique submissions, all made by our talented Quadrangle Studio members. There were many coveted pieces that sold for well over $100. Here's a small sample of some of the artwork that was sold at auction during an event held on Thursday, 18 April:

watercolour painting of a rose

crochet bear head pasted to a white backing

watercolour painting of pink and purple flowers in a vase

gold leaf on a white and gray canvas painting

sketch of Notre Dame with a heart in the middle

lots of postcard sized artwork hung up on a wall display in the Quadrangle studio alongside silent auction bid sheets
