Samsung’s latest and largest Experience Store hosted a packed launch party on Thursday, January 25 in Toronto’s Eaton Centre location. The two-storey space that overlooks Yonge-Dundas Square had a soft opening in December and has been generating media buzz ever since, with features in Retail Insider and Mobile Syrup. The “Discover Our Seoul” launch event was an immersive, multi-sensory experience that featured colourful multimedia projections throughout the space, an aerial acrobatics performance, live art creation and Korean dishes prepared by Top Chef Kristen Kish. The diversity of these activities showcased the versatility of the new space which was designed to accommodate demonstrations, lessons and exhibitions related to the entirety of Samsung’s product line.

George Foussias led the design for the project and was on hand for the ribbon-cutting and kick-off. He had this to say about the outstanding retail experience offered at the Samsung Experience Store: “Throughout, everything flows harmoniously through the two-storey interior; the one word we came to use to anchor the vision was infinity. We kept the scale of everything large, and backgrounds soft and monochromatic to highlight Samsung’s glowing new technologies.”
