Toronto City Council has given its approval for the GM Mobility Campus, located on Eastern Avenue near Toronto's emerging East Port Lands district.

The seven-acre property will house Cadillac Canada's headquarters, dealerships, a research and development facility, and the head office for Maven (GM's car-sharing service) within a five-storey building that will feature three wings offering panoramic views of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto. Rising above the remnants of the old Gardiner Expressway, the innovation centre and showroom will bring an estimated 250 new jobs to the city and establish GM Canada’s corporate presence in downtown Toronto.
