With over 18 years of professional experience in the construction industry, Derek’s focus is in understanding a project’s design intent and ensuring it is brought to realization.
Derek's primary roles includes construction administration and design and development, specifically for residential and commercial projects, where his expert knowledge of working drawings and building regulations is a major asset. His portfolio includes: 60 Atlantic in Liberty Village; 66 Isabella, Abacus Lofts, Alto, The Jack, The High Park and Picnic in Downtown Toronto; 2221 Yonge Condos; Gateway Meadowvale in Mississauga; and the ONroute Highway Service Centres located along Ontario’s 400 and 401 highways. He has also managed a number of developments in Downtown Markham including York Condos, Rouge Bijou, The Verdale, Signature/Marriott Hotel, Nexus and the Aviva Offices. Derek is also interested in building science and materials research and participates in the firm’s Construction Administration Committee.
