Paddington Lawn

Location: London, UK
Client:
Network Rail
Completion:
2017

The Paddington Lawn renovations reinvigorates the two-level retail and food destination within one of London’s busiest train stations. The project offers uncluttered views of the magnificent Victorian train shed. Glazed panels hung from ceiling tracks delineate the vendors, while also unifying the overall space and inviting natural light to pervade the interior. Lighting was used strategically to add a warm glow over the wood feature wall and through the use of discrete downlights, that reduce the contrast between the daytime and nighttime experiences.
