Caroline Robbie

Principal, BID, AOCA, ARIDO, IDC, NCIDQ

Born into a creative family, Caroline shaped her aesthetic through early exposure to seeing how built forms and the decorative arts affect quality of life. An award-winning interior designer with more than three decades of experience in the industry, she joined Quadrangle in 2007 and became a principal of the firm in 2012. She is involved in all design phases of both large and small-scale projects. Skilled at managing complex challenges, she has led teams on a number of high-profile projects, including the interiors fit-out for the Corus Quay media/entertainment headquarters. She also played a key role in revitalization workshops for the CBC Broadcasting Centre in Toronto. Caroline has juried industry awards programs for the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario and Best of Canada, has been an adjunct professor at Ryerson University and OCAD University, and is on the advisory board of Creative Cities International, a global alliance of practitioners in architecture, planning, finance, transportation and the creative industries. Inspired by her artist mother and architect father, Caroline studied lighting design, costume design and fine arts before earning an interior design degree from Ryerson.
